HUMIDITY IST THE BIGGEST ENEMY FOR EXPORTERS
As all the exporters know, humidity inside a container is the major enemy of most exporters as many products will be damages during shipment.
The temperature inside a container may reach more than 90 degrees Celsius during the day and can drop down to as low as 15 degrees Celsius at night and the resulting condensation or sweating will damage many types of goods.

HOW DOES HUMIDITY DAMAGE THE GOODS?
In a container where the relative humidity is high, fungi and molds will grow and buyers will not accept goods that arrived, damaged in this way. Also many days involving big temperature changes will often causes wooden products to crack.

HOW TO SOLVE OR ELIMINATE THE HUMIDITY?
Many efforts have been developed to combat humidity and until recently, Silica gel widely used for this purpose but Silica is not that effective.
Due to evidence of toxicity some countries have banned the use of silica gel for humidity absorption, and it is especially not recommended for edible agricultural products.
